Circus Days Kufstein
*Sorriso* is the name of the circus that sets up its tent in the picture book of the same name by Michael Roher. It offers not only magic, poetry, and acrobatics but also a farting conductor, a girl with giraffe legs, and even a real airship. Michael Roher reads, draws, performs, and invites his audience to join in and help bring the fantastic world of Circus Sorriso to life together. Michael Roher, from Lower Austria, is an author and illustrator of children's books. His love for the circus led him to work in play and circus pedagogy with children and young people. For decades, the social educator has been involved in various children's and youth circus projects. Roher has been awarded the Austrian Children's and Youth Book Prize several times for his works. The Circus Days festival will bring this production to two elementary schools in the Kufstein district (Erl, Kufstein Inner City) on January 23 and 24, 2025. During the festival, original illustrations by Michael Roher from his children's book *Circus Sorriso* will be exhibited in the foyer of the Kultur Quartier.
