The Trombone Attraction 'Ode to cheekiness' / Concert / Show
Being cheeky.
Is this a negative or rather a positive quality? Trombone Attraction is of the opinion that the meaning of this adjective is definitely positive. All the more so because these four trombonists have often heard the same word in connection with their performances. Clearly as a compliment! This stage program is to be understood as an ode to that positive cheekiness. To that cheekiness that is a kind of intellectual independence. To that cheekiness that courageously questions norms. To that cheekiness that provocatively makes you think. The kind of cheek that challenges socially established norms. Cheekiness that curiously challenges the familiar. Admittedly, all this is a bottomless impertinence, but one that should definitely be offered!
Works by Harold Arlen, Ludwig van Beethoven, Leonard Bernstein, Giovanni Gabrieli and Astor Piazolla.
