Ausklang II (mit Franui & Tobias Moretti)

A new festival will take place at the Tyrolean Festival Erl from 4 to 6 October 2024. Musicbanda Franui, which has become known as a ‘transformer between classical, folk, jazz and contemporary chamber music’ and has been regularly sold out and acclaimed in Erl for many years, will act as the musical host. During the festival weekend, Erl also declares itself the northernmost outpost for the South Tyrolean custom of Törggelen: Törggelen dishes are served in the village inns and at the event site - accompanied by the best wine from South Tyrol at all events. Ausklang II Star actor Tobias Moretti and the Musicbanda Franui embark on an inner-Alpine journey in the Passionsspielhaus under the motto ‘We long for home / And don't know where to go?’. In addition to songs by Schubert, Brahms and Mahler, they also have poems and texts by Eichendorff, Enzensberger, Jandl and H.C. Artmann in their luggage. Things get hot in the second part of the evening when the Simply Quartet, the Viennese song duo Die Strottern and The Erlkings (why have they never been to Erl?) invite you to the Schubertiade. Together, they undertake a transformation of Schubert's music into the here and now.
